For my online assignment I worked on my story boards for my stop motion project. I struggled with coming up how I wanted to move my objects and how each movement would work out.

After watching the videos of stop motion, I learned some interesting things. Stop motion dates back to the early 1900s. This is really interesting because I didn’t realize its been around for that long. Thomas Edison worked with different stop motion people. I thought this was cool because Thomas Edison provided a lot of technology used in cameras, which is crucial in stop motion. The final thing I thought was interesting was that King Kong was both live action and stop motion. This is cool because it’s taking 2 totally different styles of film and combining them into a very popular film.

So far for the stop motion assignment I have came up with my script. I’m using a song that introduces things about myself to others.

I am about to work on my storyboards for what I want my stop motion to look like.
